These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CvCut website and CV builder (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) The Service

CvCut provides tools to create, edit, preview, and export resumes / CVs using customizable templates. Features may change over time, and we may add, modify, or remove functionality.

2) Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the age defined by local law).

3) Your content

You are responsible for the content you input into the Service (including personal data, text, and any uploaded materials) ("User Content"). You represent that you have the necessary rights to use and submit your User Content.

You retain ownership of your User Content. To provide the Service, you grant CvCut a limited license to process your User Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

4) Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes.
  • Do not attempt to access or interfere with systems, accounts, or data you do not have permission to access.
  • Do not upload malware, malicious code, or content that violates third-party rights (including intellectual property).
  • Do not abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service (e.g., excessive automated requests).

5) Privacy and data protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information. By using the Service, you agree to our privacy practices.

6) Third-party services

The Service may include links or integrations with third-party services (e.g., analytics, advertising, email delivery). We are not responsible for third-party services and your use of them may be subject to their separate terms and policies.

7) Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, templates, branding, and code, is owned by CvCut or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service unless we give you written permission.

You may use templates provided by CvCut to create your CV for personal or professional use. You may not resell or redistribute templates or the Service content as a standalone product.

8) Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

CvCut does not provide legal, tax, or professional career advice. We do not guarantee job placement, interview outcomes, or recruiter responses.

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CvCut will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or used the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal risk.

11) Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date above.
